These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our car rental services provided by AjanLLARent, a local rent a car company based in Struga, North Macedonia. By booking or using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. 1. Rental Requirements

   1. The renter must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving license for at least 2 years.
   2. For certain vehicle categories, a higher minimum age or additional insurance deposit may apply.
   3. A valid ID card or passport is required when signing the rental agreement.

2. 2. Reservations and Payment

   1. Reservations can be made via our website, phone, or in person at our Struga office.
   2. To confirm a booking, the renter may be required to pay a deposit or provide valid credit card details.
   3. Payments can be made in cash, by credit/debit card, or via bank transfer.
   4. All prices include VAT and basic insurance unless stated otherwise.

3. 3. Vehicle Pickup and Return

   1. The vehicle must be picked up and returned at the agreed time and location stated in the rental agreement.
   2. Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup. If not, refueling charges will apply.
   3. Late returns may result in additional daily charges.

4. 4. Driver’s Responsibilities

   1. The renter is responsible for using the vehicle in accordance with traffic laws and the rental agreement.
   2. The vehicle must not be driven under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that affects driving ability.
   3. Only drivers listed in the rental contract are authorized to operate the vehicle.
   4. The renter is responsible for any fines, penalties, or damage resulting from improper use.

5. 5. Insurance and Liability

   1. All vehicles are insured with basic coverage (third-party liability). Full coverage (CDW) may be available at extra cost.
   2. Insurance does not cover damage caused by negligence, driving on unpaved roads, or under the influence of alcohol.
   3. The renter is responsible for the deductible (franchise) in case of damage or theft unless full coverage has been purchased.

6. 6. Accidents and Vehicle Damage

   1. In case of an accident, theft, or damage, the renter must immediately inform the company and local authorities (police report required).
   2. Without a police report, insurance coverage may not apply.
   3. The renter should not attempt repairs without prior authorization from the company.

7. 7. Cancellation Policy

   1. Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the rental start date.
   2. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee equivalent to one rental day.
   3. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after confirmation.

8. 8. Data Protection

   1. We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
   2. Your information is used solely for managing your booking and ensuring safe rental operations.

9. 9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

   1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of North Macedonia.
   2. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be settled by the competent court in Struga.
